Wikivoyage calls Pak Meng the main boat pier on Pak Meng Beach; ferries take about an hour to Koh Ngai and speedboats about 20 minutes (Wikivoyage Ko Ngai). Wikipedia: boats can be rented to the nearby islands, and the beach has many restaurants and is part of Hat Chao Mai National Park. Useful for crew changes via Trang airport (TST). The beach shoals far out; anchor off in settled NE weather only and land the dinghy near the pier. Position from OpenStreetMap.
