Ban Koh Muk Village (Hua Laem)

7° 22.4′ N · 99° 18.5′ E

Koh Muk's Muslim fishing village on the east coast, with the island's ferry pier, minimarts, a bank ATM and simple local restaurants.

Practical

Wikivoyage: the main pier is at the village; a minimarket stands next to a Krungsri ATM (220 THB international card fee); small shops along the road from the pier to Charlie Beach sell basics; motorbike taxis cost about 50 THB from the pier (prices verify locally). OpenStreetMap marks PK Minimart and two smaller fruit and grocery shops. Southeast Asia Pilot: good supermarkets in the main town. Anchor at Hat Sai Yao on the east coast and dinghy to the long jetty, or walk 20 minutes across from Hat Farang. Position from the OpenStreetMap PK Minimart node.
