Koh Muk Water and Fuel (Village)

7° 22.3′ N · 99° 18.5′ E

Drinking-water refill, roadside petrol pumps and a freshwater creek: the only published water and fuel options in the Trang islands short of the mainland.

Practical

OpenStreetMap maps a bottle-refill drinking-water station on the village road (named 'Refill Water 5 Bath/1,5L', so about 5 THB per 1.5 L; verify locally) at this position, and two coin fuel-vending pumps (7.3723, 99.3046 and 7.3698, 99.3032) of the kind sold for motorbikes, so expect petrol for the outboard, not diesel. No source we opened lists diesel, a fuel dock or a water hose on Koh Muk; for diesel by the jerry can ask at the village shops, or fill at Kantang or Lanta beforehand. Southeast Asia Pilot: the village has good local supermarkets and supplies, a small bakery and mini market sit near the main road above Hat Farang, and the Emerald Cave beach on the west side leads to a small freshwater creek. The main village pier (OpenStreetMap concrete pier around 7.3761, 99.3089) dries at low water; land the dinghy at mid to high tide.
