8° 8.5′ N · 98° 35.9′ E · approximate
The mangrove channels on Koh Yao Noi's west coast are part of the largest remaining native mangrove expanse in Thailand, home to crab-eating macaques, smooth-coated otters, mangrove snakes, kingfishers, Brahminy kites and white-bellied sea eagles.
