Koh Yao Noi's forested hills hold at least four hornbill species, best seen at dawn and dusk around the hillside resorts above Tha Khao.

Position is Hill House, Tha Khao, from Wikivoyage, which describes hornbill habitat (at least four species) and limestone views from there. The Hornbill Viewpoint trail from Tha Khao is the other good spot. Keep quiet, bring binoculars, and never feed them. Wildlife sightings vary; ask locally where the birds are roosting.
