Koh Rawi North Coast Bays (Ao Ta Lo La Ka, Ao Ta Lo Ku Yot)

6° 34.8′ N · 99° 13.1′ E · approximate

A string of small coves along Koh Rawi's uninhabited north shore, facing open sea and rarely visited by the Lipe longtails.

Practical

Position: the OpenStreetMap label for Ao Ta Lo Ku Yot (in the water, about 350 m off the beach); Ao Ta Lo La Ka (6.57855, 99.20392) and Ao Talo Pa Tai Ra-Ngoi (6.57965, 99.23446) lie either side. No cruising guide we found gives depths or holding on this coast: approach in good light with a lookout on the bow, sound in, anchor only on sand. Open to the north and NE monsoon; a lee in southerly winds. No facilities. Park fee and the Adang–Rawi seasonal closure apply (see those entries).
