Koh Poda East Lunch Stop (East Koh Dam Hok)

7° 58.3′ N · 98° 48.9′ E

A lunch-and-swim spot on the edge of the sandy beach at the northeastern tip of Koh Poda, where the bottom climbs steeply out of crystal water.

Practical

Southeast Asia Pilot waypoint 07°58.284N 98°48.857E. Anchor in 5-6 m on the sand edge; the bottom rises very fast from 18-20 m, so set carefully and allow swinging room for an onshore breeze. The Pilot advises not leaving the boat unattended. Budget bungalows and a restaurant ashore. Park fee applies.

Best for

A daytime swim stop
