Koh Chi (Koh Stork / Ko Ree)
9° 28.4′ N · 97° 54.3′ E
The northernmost islet of the Surins, just off Surin Nua's northeast corner and a few kilometres south of the Myanmar sea border. It has a dive and snorkel site and a beach, and is also called Ko Satok (Koh Stork) or Ko Ri.
Practical
Coordinate is the dive-site position from Wikipedia (9°28′23″N, 97°54′16″E). OSM maps the beach as 'Haad Ko Ri – Ko Ree Beach' at 9.47521, 97.90519, and Wikivoyage lists 'Ko Ree (Ko Stok)'. The Southeast Asia Pilot describes the Koh Chi light as reliable. The Myanmar border lies a few km north, and permission is needed in advance to go further north. A day stop only; exposed. 'Koh Stork' (Ko Satok) is the same island, not a separate one: Wikipedia names Ko Chi as also referred to as Ko Satok.
