Haad Thien and Haad Yuan

9° 41.8′ N · 100° 4.6′ E

Two small southeast-coast coves just north of Haad Rin, cut off by headlands and jungle, reached by boat or a coastal trail: the quiet escape from the Full Moon crowds.

Practical

Position is Wikivoyage's marker for Haad Thien; Haad Yuan is just south (9.6910N 100.0738E). There is a walking trail between Haad Rin and Haad Thien, but it can be hard to follow, so carry water (Wikivoyage). Wikivoyage notes no mobile data here. No SE Asia Pilot anchorage data; treat as a dinghy or calm-day lunch stop from Haad Rin Nok. East-facing, exposed in the NE monsoon.
