Chaloklum Fuel and Water (jerry can)
9° 47.2′ N · 100° 0.2′ E
Chaloklum has no marine fuel dock, but the fishing village has road fuel stations and refill-water machines a short walk from the pier.
Practical
Coordinate is the fuel station on the main road (route 6038) at the western end of the village (OpenStreetMap node 9457452717). A second station is mapped at 9.7857N 100.0094E at the eastern end. No source documents a marine fuel dock or hose at Chaloklum Pier (OSM 9.7874N 100.0061E): carry diesel by jerry can from the road stations, or ask the fishing-boat owners at the pier. Drinking water: OpenStreetMap maps a drinking-water machine (9.7854N 100.0077E) and a refill station selling water at 1 THB per 1.25 litres (9.7855N 100.0062E), both on the main road by the pier; bring jugs. Larger quantities of fuel are easier at Thong Sala. The SE Asia Pilot notes jerry-can water from a pipe at Haad Nam Tok on the east coast for a nominal fee. The 7-Eleven and Lotus's go fresh in the village sell bottled water. Wikivoyage warns petrol is overpriced at many places on the island.
