Bangrak Ferry Pier
9° 33.5′ N · 100° 3.4′ E · approximate
The big concrete pier in the southwest corner of Bangrak Bay, used by the Koh Phangan and Koh Tao ferries and deep enough for a yacht to come alongside.
Practical
Southeast Asia Pilot describes a large concrete ferry pier in the southwest corner, deep enough to go alongside. The position is OSM's Big Buddha Pier node (the Haad Rin Queen ferry terminal is 150 m away), matched to the Pilot's description, so treat it as approximate. OSM also maps a separate Bangrak Pier at 9.5652, 100.0605 near the Big Buddha causeway. Ferries have priority: ask the operators before going alongside and expect heavy wash. Useful for crew changes and for fuel or water by jerry can.
Best for
Crew changes, ferries to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao
