Seychelles Ports Authority Authorisation for Denis and Bird

Before a charter yacht sails to Denis or Bird, the Seychelles Ports Authority must grant special authorisation and complete some formalities. These are the two coral islands an Inner-Islands charter can reach.

The Moorings eGuide (2024 edition) says Denis and Bird are once more open to charter sailors but need special authorisation and formalities from the Port Authority, and that the base explains the procedure at the chart briefing. Allow time for the paperwork before departure. Private yachts should ask Port Control (VHF 12) at clearance. Coordinate is approximate: Victoria city centre (Wikipedia), where the port offices are.
