Customs, Immigration and Harbour Master Offices, Victoria

4° 37.5′ S · 55° 27.7′ E · approximate

The cluster of offices around Mahé Quay and the port where arrival fees are paid and outbound clearance (immigration letter, harbour dues, customs zarpe) is issued.

Practical

Approximate: placed beside the Seychelles Ports Authority office on Latanier Road; the individual offices are in and around the port complex (hackingfamily.com says customs and immigration are within walking distance in the port complex; Noonsite says the Customs House is opposite the port offices across the road). Officials board you at anchor, but fees and documents are handled at the Ports Authority office; Noonsite says you can leave the tender at the Seychelles Yacht Club for a small fee while you do this. Departure order (Noonsite 2025 comment): Immigration, Accounts (exit fees), Harbour Master, then Customs, who issue the zarpe; SMSA departure form and crew list at Trinity House (SCR 200 in 2025). Outbound clearance must be done 8am-12pm and 1pm-3pm Mon-Fri, and some offices want a full working day's notice. Visit Immigration with all passports and state departure date and time (between 6am and 6pm); the immigration clearance letter goes to the Harbour Master to start port and customs clearance, payable once harbour dues are settled. Longer stays need a Temporary Import Permit (Ministry of Finance Trade Division, Maison Esplanade, and SRC Customs, Sunshine Building, Providence): about SCR 590 in 2025 without an agent, several weeks to process. Visitor permit extensions: Immigration, Independence House.
