A seasonal, ranger-controlled walk to see hawksbill turtles nesting on Curieuse's beaches — the island hosts a large hawksbill rookery.
Practical
Runs October to early March; fee Rs150 (SPGA). Controlled access — book or ask at the rangers' station; no lights or flash near nesting turtles. Coordinate approx: Baie Laraie rangers' area, where the walk is arranged.
