Curieuse mangrove boardwalk trail (Baie Laraie to Anse José)

The classic Curieuse walk: from the rangers' station past Baie Laraie and over a raised boardwalk on pilings through a mangrove swamp holding six of Seychelles' seven mangrove species, then over the saddle to Anse José and the Doctor's House.
Practical
The boardwalk is passable even at high tide (SPGA). Allow roughly 25–40 minutes each way at an easy pace (published estimates vary). Popular plan: anchor at Baie Laraie, walk to Anse José and have the dinghy or boat meet you there (Moorings: 'hike from Baie Laraie across the island to Anse José, by the ruins').
