Cassel Lake (Teakerne Arm)
50° 12.1′ N · 124° 50.3′ W
The lake above Teakerne Arm's waterfall, reached by a short, steep climb from the park dinghy float. The lake water warms nicely in summer and is a popular freshwater swim.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM lake outline centre. BC Parks lists a 1 km trail to the lake, with a good view of the falls from near the top. The path is short but rough and steep: wear proper shoes. Swim from the rocks near the outflow and keep well away from the lip of the falls. No lifeguards.
Best for
A freshwater swim above the falls
