Malcapuya Island Beach

11° 47.3′ N · 120° 6.7′ E

Powder-white sand, coconut palms and clear coral gardens on a privately run island south of Busuanga, the headline stop of Coron's southern island tours.

Practical

Entry PHP 300 per person (Travel in Coron, 2026; PHP 150-200 in older Wikivoyage notes). Visitors usually spend 1.5-2 hours; a viewpoint is mapped on the island (OSM). The inventory's 'Malcapuya Island Anchorage' could not be verified with depth or holding data: anchor off neighbouring Bulalacao Island or Ditaytayan and come by dinghy, or approach in settled weather with good light and sound carefully. Still no published yacht anchorage at Malcapuya itself (checked the Soggy Paws Compendium 2026 and RCC 2025 notes); Lifelines (2008) anchored on the north side of neighbouring Bulalacao at 11 46.9N 120 08.4E in 30 m, about 2 nm SE, and Arnak found Bayuan Bay at Bulalacao's north end deep until well in, then mangroves. Landing boats must use the western beach (owner's rule).
