Arrecife Island Reef Dive (Honda Bay)

The coral-and-sand patches around Arrecife Island at the northeast of Honda Bay are among the bay's dive sites, a quieter alternative to the crowded snorkel islands near Santa Lourdes.

Approximate: placed about 250 m south of the Arrecife Island outline mapped in OpenStreetMap (island extent 9.9079-9.9147 N, 118.8762-118.8799 E); not a surveyed dive mooring. The City Tourism Office says the area around Arrecife is studded with patches of coral and sand with dive sites around the island; no wall, depths or site names are published in the sources found, so treat it as an exploratory reef dive and go with a Puerto Princesa dive centre that runs Honda Bay trips. The island is private (Dos Palmas resort): do not land without arrangement. Anchor only on sand, never on coral.
