Starfish Island (Honda Bay)

A sandbar island in the middle of Honda Bay named for the orange starfish scattered across its shallow seagrass flats; wade and look, but leave them in the water.
Practical
Entrance fee PHP 50 in a 2023 guide (verify locally); boat from the wharf about PHP 1,600 for up to 6 passengers (2023). Shallow water all around: approach by dinghy only. Do not lift starfish out of the water. Not to be confused with Starfish Island off Port Barton.
