The quietest of the Honda Bay day stops: anchor off the west side of Isla Pandan (charted Makesi Island), a privately run island on the eastern side of the bay away from the main tour circuit.
Practical
Position approximate: about 350 m west of the island's mapped shoreline (OpenStreetMap way 68325726), checked as water against the OSM coastline; no published depths or holding, so sound your way in and anchor on sand clear of coral. About 4.2 nm east of Santa Lourdes wharf. Private island: landing requires the island's entrance fee (PHP 1,250 in a 2023 guide; verify locally), and you should ask at the wharf or contact the island before landing from a private boat. Kalungpang Island lies about 1.5 nm north-northeast and Arrecife Island (Dos Palmas resort) about 4.5 nm east-northeast. The west side gives some lee in easterlies, but the bay is open to the east: settled weather only.
