A relatively flat jungle trail from Quimixto village to a waterfall and natural pools, also done on horseback along the La Puerta river. The gentle family option among the south-shore waterfalls.

Coordinate is the Quimixto beach landing (trailhead, approx); the waterfall itself lies inland and its position was not verified. Banderas News: flat trail to the waterfall and pools; horseback rides along the La Puerta river; falls are at their best after the summer rains (July to October). Wear shoes that grip; carry water.
