A long, soft amber-sand beach on the roadless south shore, lined with palapa seafood restaurants and busy with water-taxi day-trippers from Boca and Los Muertos.

Coordinate is the OSM polygon for Playa Las Ánimas. Gentle waves; diving, banana boats, volleyball, a jungle canopy park; beach restaurants rent loungers and palapas (Banderas News, 2024). Reachable by water taxi from Boca de Tomatlán or Los Muertos pier, or on the coastal trail. No recognised yacht anchorage is documented here (Noonsite lists only La Cruz, Yelapa and Punta de Mita as anchorages); a lunch stop in calm conditions only, watching for swell and panga traffic.
