A small fishing village and beach between Las Ánimas and Yelapa, the landing for the walk or horse ride up the river to Quimixto waterfall.

Coordinate is the OSM polygon for Playa Quimixto. Calm beach good for snorkeling and diving, with surf in the off season; seafood at Los Cocos Restaurant-Bar (Banderas News, 2024). Water taxis from Boca de Tomatlán and Los Muertos. Not a documented yacht anchorage; dinghy or water-taxi landing only.
