Playa Los Morritos (Espíritu Santo South-East)
24° 25.0′ N · 110° 19.1′ W · approximate
A remote east-facing beach on the south-east corner of Espíritu Santo between Punta Los Morritos and Punta Lupona, a mile or two south of Bonanza and almost never visited by yachts.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate: read off the georeferenced zoning map (page 9) of the CONANP Espíritu Santo park rules compendium hosted by Club Cruceros; the same method reproduces the verified positions of Los Islotes and Isla Gallo to within about 100-200 m. Point on the shoreline the map labels Los Morritos Beach; Punta Los Morritos is at about 24.4256 N, 110.3087 W (map-derived). Offshore lies the El Morrito traditional fishing polygon, where small-boat anchorage is allowed but large-boat anchorage is not. No anchoring data published; the coast is open to the east and to northers wrapping around Punta Bonanza - Bahía Bonanza just north is the sheltered overnight choice, and this beach is best reached by dinghy in calm weather. Rounding the south end into Canal de San Lorenzo, give Punta Lupona and the Suwanee (Roca Swany) reef wide room. Inside Archipiélago Espíritu Santo National Park: every person aboard needs the daily CONANP bracelet (225 MXN/person/day on the CONANP page) or an annual Conservation Passport.
Best for
