Bonanza to San Gabriel Trail
24° 26.3′ N · 110° 19.5′ W · approximate
A braided desert trail across the narrow south end of Espíritu Santo links Bonanza's beach with Bahía San Gabriel's lagoon and pearl-farm ruins.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate: midpoint between the Bonanza and San Gabriel anchorages. Online Cruising Guide describes a braided trail across the island to Bahía San Gabriel and good views from the small peak at the south edge of Bonanza beach. Carry water, wear proper shoes and go early - there is no shade. Lets you see San Gabriel without anchoring there (anchoring in San Gabriel is closed).
