The rocky north point of Isla de Venados, the third of the regular island dive sites used by Mazatlán's operators and the closest to the Sábalo marina entrance.
Practical
Shallow rocky-reef dive or snorkel, reached by boat from the marinas or the Golden Zone. Visibility is very weather-dependent, so dive early before the sea breeze. The north end catches the prevailing NW swell more than the beach side, so pick a flat day. Coordinate is derived from the northernmost point of the OpenStreetMap Isla de Venados outline (way 39988901) and is not surveyed.
