Deer Island Beach (Isla de Venados)

23° 14.1′ N · 106° 27.8′ W

The sandy beach on the city-facing east side of Isla de Venados, where the day-tour boats land kayakers, snorkelers and volleyball players. It's quieter than the mainland beaches and has clear water over the rocks at each end.

Practical

Reach it by your own dinghy from the Venados day anchorage, by the El Cid Kolonahe trimaran tour (9:30 am to 2:30 pm daily, USD 90 adults and USD 68 children 4–12, marina website, 2026), or by Golden Zone pangas. Food service on the island is limited or may be closed, so bring water and lunch. Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap 'Deer Island Beach' outline centroid (way 139759556).
