Isla de Lobos (Mazatlán)
23° 13.5′ N · 106° 27.9′ W
The smallest and southernmost of the three islands off Mazatlán's Zona Dorada, just south of Isla de Venados. Together with Venados and Pájaros, it makes the skyline that sailors steer past between the old harbor and the marinas.
Practical
Rocky with no beach landing. Keep well off when coasting between the harbor and the Sábalo channel, as the islands and the reefs between them are steep-to but unforgiving. Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap island centroid.
Best for
Coastal landmark between the old harbor and the marinas
