Little Bay (Anguilla) Day Moorings
18° 13.7′ N · 63° 4.2′ W · approximate
A tiny cove under sheer limestone cliffs just north of Crocus Bay. You can only reach it by boat, and it is a marine park, so you pick up a day mooring and swim ashore to a sliver of beach.
Practical
Coordinate approx: in the cove off Little Bay beach (OpenStreetMap way 1267217309). Marine park: absolutely NO anchoring; government moorings are day use only, 6am-7pm, under the cruising permit. Yellow buoys are for boats under 40 ft, white for under 65 ft. Very small: on a busy day the buoys fill with day-charter boats. Cliffs cause gusts and shifts. Calm and protected from the winter northerly storms, according to local dive operators.
