Les Saintes Ferries & Airstrip
15° 51.9′ N · 61° 34.8′ W
Crew changes are easy: fast ferries run several times a day from Trois-Rivières (20-30 minutes) and from Pointe-à-Pitre (about 1 hour), and Terre-de-Haut has a short airstrip for charter flights.
Practical
Position is the Terre-de-Haut aerodrome (OSM); runway about 580 m, built 1966, no scheduled flights - private operators on request (Wikipedia/Wikivoyage). Ferries land at the town pier and Fond Curé; operators include Val Ferry and Express des Îles (FRS); Terre-de-Bas is served directly from Trois-Rivières by Karu'Ferry. Book ahead in peak season and weekends (tourism board). The Saint-François-Les Saintes-Marie-Galante route (COMATRILE 'Iguana Beach') was suspended for the 2025-2026 season (Marie-Galante tourist office).
