Small but adequate shopping a few minutes from the dinghy dock: two mini-markets, bakeries, a fish market and a pharmacy - enough to restock for a few days, with French cheese, charcuterie and wine.

Practical

Position is the Carrefour Express (OSM). Also Vival (15.86507,-61.58364), the Halle aux Poissons fish market at the waterfront, Pharmacie des Saintes, a post office with ATM (La Banque Postale) at 15.86516,-61.58319. Cruisers found the Carrefour poorly stocked and a smaller supermarket better stocked and cheaper (2018). Block ice: buy municipal coupons at the town hall (Mon-Fri 7:30am-12pm; EUR 4 per 50 L or EUR 6 per 100 L for individuals) and collect at the fish market Mon-Sat 6am-8:30am or 4:30pm-6pm (mairie). LSM's dinghy delivers bread to boats at 8am (Noonsite). Bigger shops: Pointe-à-Pitre or Basse-Terre by ferry.
