The reef around the Galley Islands, right next to Great Bird Island, which ABYMA calls excellent snorkelling; turtles and rays are common around the anchorage.
Practical
Position is Galley Island Major (OSM). Dinghy from the Great Bird anchorage. A cruiser found the best snorkelling south of the anchorage, where mooring balls let you tie off the dinghy, and regularly met a spotted eagle ray (Mel On The Go, 2020). Shallow coral heads: do not stand on coral; NEMMA marine reserve rules apply.
