Preveza Castles (St George & St Andrew)
38° 56.9′ N · 20° 45.0′ E
Preveza's forts guard the narrow entrance to the Ambracian Gulf. St George's Castle (1718) sits on the channel south of the town, and the Fortress of St Andrew (Ottoman, 1701-1717, rebuilt by Ali Pasha) sits on the waterfront by the old port.
Practical
Coordinate is St George's Castle (OSM); the Fortress of St Andrew is at 38.95891N 20.75375E (OSM). Wikipedia also lists the Ali Pasha-era forts of Pantokrator and Laskara (1810) and the Venetian clock tower. Off this coast, Barbarossa's Ottoman fleet defeated the Holy League at the Battle of Preveza in 1538. Both forts are good landmarks when entering the channel. Opening hours are not confirmed in these sources.
