Preveza Port Police (Port of Entry)

38° 57.6′ N · 20° 45.3′ E · approximate

Preveza is one of the Ionian's official ports of entry for yachts, and a convenient place to clear in, obtain or stamp a DEKPA, and sort out the TEPAI cruising tax before heading south through the Lefkas canal.

Practical

Coordinate is approx: it uses the town-quay position (mySea), because Noonsite places the Port Police office on the waterfront but no verified coordinate was found. Noonsite lists Preveza as a Port of Entry. Users report getting their DEKPA stamped here; one crew was given a temporary paper when forms had run out. Several recommend the local agent Sofia ('All About Yacht', next to the Port Police, +30 26820 28316 or +30 6980 151412), who handled TEPAI payment and DEKPA for a fee (EUR 30 in one report; undated, verify). TEPAI is paid online or at a post office; bring boat registration, passports and an email address or smartphone to receive the payment code. Hours are not published in these sources: go on a weekday morning.
