Preveza is the best-stocked town in this subregion: several supermarkets in the old town, a market hall, fishmongers selling the famous Ambracian sardines and gambari shrimp, and a Lidl on the edge of town.

Coordinate is the Masoutis supermarket in the centre (OSM); a second, larger Masoutis is at 38.97166N 20.74845E and Lidl at 38.99411N 20.74013E (OSM, about 4 km from the marina per Noonsite). mySea mentions a supermarket near the harbour, more grocery stores and a market hall in the centre. Marina Market convenience store is at the Preveza Marina (OSM). In March 2025 the Preveza regional unit announced applications to register 'Amvrakikos Sardine' and 'Amvrakikos Shrimp/Gambari' as Protected Geographical Indications. Cleopatra Marina's site lists Amvrakikos sardines and shrimp and grey mullet among the local specialities. The general hospital is at 38.96530N 20.75360E (OSM).
