38° 57.1′ N · 20° 45.9′ E

A marina and Greece's largest boatyard on the Aktio side of the Preveza strait, 1.5 km from Aktion airport. It is the main haul-out and wintering yard of the northern Ionian.

Practical

Up to 84 wet berths for yachts to about 25 m; dry storage for about 1,200 boats on 15 hectares; travel lifts of 50, 80, 300 and 480 t; hydraulic trailers; and a 23 t-m crane. It handles yachts up to 45 m, 10 m beam and 5 m draught (marina site). Call reception on VHF 67 or by phone on approach; staff assign a berth and help you moor. Prepaid power (220-380 V) and water pedestals, new WC and showers, self-service laundry, Celest restaurant, mini-market (+30 26828 88015), chandlery (+30 2682 023015; Apr-Oct Mon-Sat 8:30am-2:30pm) and Waypoint Sails sailmaker (Apr-Oct daily 7am-3pm). Office: info@cleopatramarina.com, +30 26820 23015 / 23013. The wet-berth reception operates from 1 April; dry-berth, technical and chandlery desks work year-round. Fuel: the 'Aegean' fuel berth at the marina's north entrance runs 24 hours; call VHF 67 for fuel at night and ask the marina which side of the pontoon to come (mySea). Noonsite reviews of the technical department are mixed: excellent mechanics and fair prices for some owners, bill disputes for others, so get itemised written quotes. mySea notes the berths can be lively in strong wind, with turbulent current.
