Nissaki & Agni Coast Snorkel
39° 43.4′ N · 19° 53.8′ E
The coast from Nissaki north to Kassiopi is a chain of small white-pebble coves under olive groves, several reachable only by sea, with gin-clear water over rock and pebble that makes it the island's best casual snorkelling — mornings are glassy before the afternoon breeze.
Practical
Coordinate is Nissaki beach (OpenStreetMap). Snorkel the rocky points between the coves; Agni beach slopes steeply with jagged submerged rocks, and there is a diving centre at Agni (Greeka). Best in the morning before the afternoon breeze ruffles the channel (SeaDreamers). Watch for water-taxis and RIBs running the coast, and ferry wash. Kalami's beach is Blue Flag (Moorings).
Best for
Morning snorkel-and-swim hops along the north-east coast
Season
May–Oct; calmest mornings
