Mongonisi Taverna & Quay
39° 10.9′ N · 20° 12.3′ E
Mongonissi Beach, a traditional Greek taverna with its own quay on the beach. Diners can berth here, and it will also take your order for fresh bread for the morning.
Practical
The quay has uneven depths of 1.5-2.2 m over weed and sand, with moderate holding. It has no water, power or lazy lines; in many places you should go bows-to. If you use the quay, eat at the restaurant (mySea). The quay at 39.18163N 20.20503E is only 1-1.4 m deep, so dinghies only. The taverna takes quay reservations except in high season: +30 26620 32140, mobile +30 697 4478 557, mongonissibeach@gmail.com (mySea). At the end of the beach, the Carnayo music bar is for an evening drink; only shallow-draught motorboats and dinghies can berth there. The beach has toilets and showers (Paxos Map).
