Mongonisi Blue Pot & Angelos Cave

Two serious dives off the southern tip of Paxos. The 'Blue Pot' at Mongonisi ends in a small swim-through tunnel, and Angelos Cave is a 100 m labyrinth of chambers and lofts.
Practical
Paxos Map rates the Blue Pot as needing much experience and suitable weather. Angelos Cave is at 39.17643N 20.20165E. Paxos Map also lists a beginner dive, Balos, off Ozias (39.18675N 20.20246E), with remains of an 'old sunken port' of Paxos, and Giannas near Gaios (39.19534N 20.19044E) as a discovery-dive site. Arrange dives through a local centre.
