Akra Vodina Bay (SW Antipaxos)

39° 8.5′ N · 20° 14.2′ E

A bay at the southern end of Antipaxos, beneath Cape Vodina, with beaches at its head. Sea-Seek calls it a beautiful calm-weather anchorage, much less busy than Vrika and Voutoumi, where the Paxos day boats go.

Practical

Coordinate is Sea-Seek's Akkra Vodina point (2015 report). mySea marks two more day-only anchorages on the SE coast: one with 2-8 m over sand and weed (39.14182N 20.23853E) and one only 1-2 m deep (39.14242N 20.24785E). Both are 'only suitable for day anchorage in calm weather'. Greek Wikipedia mentions a small harbour and a reef at Vodina, so approach slowly with a bow lookout.
