Agia Kyriaki Harbour (Alykes)

37° 50.7′ N · 20° 46.8′ E · approximate

The little breakwater harbour at Agia Kyriaki, at the south-east end of Alykes bay, with Neraida taverna and the best sand of the bay alongside. Its berths belong to the local fishing boats, so yachts anchor off.

Practical

Coordinate is inside the hook of the breakwater, derived from the OpenStreetMap breakwater and pier outlines (approximate). The breakwater curves out from the shore at 37.8439, 20.7807 to about 37.8450, 20.7800; a slipway is at 37.8438, 20.7806 (OpenStreetMap). SailingIssues: berths inside are reserved for local fishing boats and the bay offers little shelter; the even shallower harbour at Kavos is no better. Anchor off the beach in settled weather and come in by dinghy. No published depths, fees or services for visiting yachts. Open to N and E. Ashore: Neraida taverna (near Agia Kyriaki, live music in the evening, Wikivoyage) and The Mill bar-restaurant right by the harbour; the best sand of the bay is at this eastern end (Wikivoyage).
