Volos Port of Entry — Central Port Authority

39° 21.5′ N · 22° 56.6′ E · approximate

Volos is the mainland port of entry for this corner of the Aegean (Skyros and the Pelion harbours are not ports of entry). The Central Port Authority (Kentriko Limenarchio Volou) handles port control and clearance at the passenger port.

Practical

Port Authority tel +30 2421 038888 (Sail Aegean and Kavas base information). Non-EU crews arriving from outside Schengen clear immigration here. All foreign yachts need the electronic transit log (e-TL) and proof that TEPAI cruising tax is paid; carry registration, insurance and a crew list. The Limenarchio also collects OLV port dues outside office hours. Charter skippers sign a charter party, which the port authorities legally require. Volos Tourist Police: +30 24210 76987. The position is the OpenStreetMap passenger-port centroid, not the office door.
