Karpathos Diving Center (Pigadia)

A PADI dive centre on Pigadia's main promenade that has run guided dives, courses and snorkelling on Karpathos since 2007 (under new owners since 2011). It is the island's only listed dive operator and the place for tank fills.

It offers PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec and Snorkelling, nitrox, equipment rental (including kids' kit), scooter (DPV) rental and conservation dives. Office hours are listed as daily 7pm–9pm; PADI advises checking Google Maps for current hours. Greeka: opened in 2007, under new owners since 2011, based on the main promenade road. Dive sites Greeka names are the Labirynth, Achata Arch, Camel Reef, Vronti Caves and the MS Dias wreck (see Achata Arch & Pigadia Bay Dive Sites), with monk seal sightings possible. Taucher.net reviews (2009, 2013) describe shore dives reached by car or minivan. Respect the Natura 2000 and monk seal areas in the north (see Saria entries).
