Kalamakia (Alonissos)

39° 12.1′ N · 23° 55.9′ E · approximate

A tiny fishing hamlet on Alonissos' east coast north of Steni Vala, looking across to Peristera, with a small harbour for fishing caïques and a taverna on the shore.

Practical

Approximate position about 110 m off the harbour entrance, derived from the OpenStreetMap coastline and breakwaters (harbour at about 39.2011–39.2027 N, 23.9298–23.9302 E). The harbour is a refuge for small boats and caïques (Greek Wikipedia), not a yacht port — no cruising-guide depths found, so sound your way in and treat it as a calm-weather lunch stop open to the east. Taverna 'Ta Kalamakia' is on the waterfront (OSM); Suelto restaurant is just south.

Best for

Calm-day lunch stop between Steni Vala and Agios Dimitrios

Season
