Approximate position in the middle of the bay, derived from the OpenStreetMap coastline (the earlier estimate fell on land); no published coordinate. Good holding in sand with less weed than Steni Vala; not suitable in stronger NE winds or a meltemi. There is no shortcut between the islet off the southern entrance and Alonissos (Sailing Issues).
