Navagio Shipwreck Bay (Peristera)
39° 12.3′ N · 23° 58.3′ E
A bay named after the wreck of the barge 'Alonissos', which once carried the island's supplies — the hull is now full of fish and makes an excellent snorkel.
Practical
Originally called Kalami. Nearly as sheltered as Vasiliko without the trawlers, generators or fouled ground. Anchor close to the wreck on either side, optionally with a line ashore (Sailing Issues).
Best for
Wreck snorkelling in a sheltered bay
