Vasiliko Bay (Peristera)
39° 12.1′ N · 23° 58.6′ E
A bay on Peristera's west coast with very good shelter from the prevailing north-easterly, used by a small shipyard.
Practical
Stay on the west side; anchor in 6–8 m with plenty of chain — reasonable holding in soft sand and weed. The bottom rises evenly from great depth; a heavy mooring chain lies mostly within 5 m, and an abandoned telephone cable is present. Approaching from the north, watch for reefs off the headland. Trawlers with running generators sometimes moor overnight (Sailing Issues). Yachting.com: seals and turtles may be seen, best outside peak season.
