Grecosailor crew anchored mid-bay in 4 m on excellent-holding sand; the depth shoals very gradually. Nearby, the Kobe lighthouse anchorage (39.7989, 25.2323) has sand in 2–6 m with excellent shelter from south-westerlies but little from other directions.
