In late summer hundreds of pairs of Eleonora's falcons breed on the cliffs of Piperi (350–400 pairs) and Skantzoura, hunting migrating songbirds over the sea.
Practical
Watch from outside Piperi's 3 nm exclusion ring; Skantzoura's Limani is the place to see them from an anchorage. Audouin's gull also breeds on Skantzoura (Sailing Issues).
