Chios Town has the best shopping in the NE Aegean islands: big supermarkets within a few blocks of the quay, a produce market behind the west quay most days, bakeries and fishmongers.

AB Vassilopoulos on the harbour (Mon–Fri 8am–9pm, Sat 8am–8pm per OSM) is the closest; Masoutis, Sklavenitis franchise (Mon–Sat 8am–8pm) and Chara supermarkets are a few blocks inland around the old-town grid, with My Market further along the waterfront (OSM). Noonsite: a market just behind the west quay most days; everything else in town. CruisersWiki: 'excellent grocery shopping'. Laundry: 'Hold my Laundry' near the harbour (OSM node 12913889656). Lidl and more supermarkets on the airport road south of town. Sunday closures are the norm. Manara's loukoumades in the market (greektravel).
